The Drishyam Conclusion trailer reunites Ajay Devgn and Tabu for a final battle, while Jaideep Ahlawat enters as a new investigator threatening Vijay Salgaonkar.

MUMBAI: The Drishyam Conclusion trailer has arrived, bringing Ajay Devgn and Tabu back into one of Hindi cinema’s most recognisable battles of wits as Vijay Salgaonkar prepares to protect his family one final time.

Released on September 9, the trailer shows Vijay facing renewed pressure over the case that has followed the Salgaonkar family throughout the franchise. Tabu returns as Meera Deshmukh, while Shriya Saran reprises her role as Vijay’s wife, Nandini.

This time, however, Vijay faces a new opponent.

Who joins Ajay Devgn and Tabu?

Jaideep Ahlawat joins the franchise as SP Crime Branch Rajveer Singh Tomar, an investigator who appears determined to uncover the truth behind the long-running case.

The Drishyam Conclusion trailer suggests Rajveer will bring a different approach to the investigation, putting Vijay’s carefully constructed defence under fresh pressure.

Prakash Raj also joins the Hindi film as a lawyer, adding another major figure to the confrontation. Rajat Kapoor, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav and Kamlesh Sawant are among the returning cast members.

Ahlawat has clarified that his character is new and is not a replacement for Akshaye Khanna’s character from the previous film.

What does the trailer reveal?

The central conflict remains familiar, but the stakes appear higher.

Vijay has spent years protecting his family and staying ahead of investigators. Meera, meanwhile, remains determined to uncover what happened to her son.

The new trailer presents that confrontation as the final stage of their story, while Rajveer’s arrival creates another challenge for Vijay.

Importantly, the Hindi film is not simply following the recently released Malayalam Drishyam 3. Ajay Devgn said at the trailer launch that Drishyam: The Conclusion has a different story from the Malayalam film starring Mohanlal.

When will Drishyam: The Conclusion release?

The film will arrive in cinemas on October 2, 2026, continuing the franchise’s long association with the date.

Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the film is presented by Star Studio18 and produced by Panorama Studios. Pathak also contributes to the story and screenplay.

The Drishyam Conclusion trailer positions the movie as the final chapter of Vijay Salgaonkar’s Hindi-language story, raising the biggest question for fans: can Vijay stay ahead of everyone once again, or has his carefully constructed plan finally reached its limit?

With Devgn and Tabu returning and Ahlawat entering the investigation, the finale has a familiar rivalry alongside a significant new threat.

Impact to expect

Anticipation. The return of Ajay Devgn and Tabu, combined with Jaideep Ahlawat’s new character, could build strong audience interest ahead of the October 2 theatrical release.
