Miss Universe Philippines Bea Millan-Windorski walked the Red Charity Gala runway in a JC Buendia bridal creation, supporting several charitable foundations.

MANILA: Miss Universe Philippines Bea Millan-Windorski brought fashion and advocacy together as she took to the runway at the Red Charity Gala, wearing the closing bridal look by Filipino designer JC Buendia.

The gala supported the Assumption HS 81 Foundation, Hope for Lupus Foundation and Philippine Red Cross, turning the fashion showcase into a fundraising platform for multiple causes.

Bridal look takes centre stage

Millan-Windorski shared images from the event on Instagram, highlighting the craftsmanship behind the gown.

She described the look as featuring piña draping, floral detailing and a drop-waist silhouette inspired by the 1920s. The design served as the closing bridal look of the showcase.

The appearance added another fashion milestone to the beauty queen’s recent schedule, which has included runway appearances and advocacy-led engagements across the Philippines.

Advocacy remains a key focus

The reigning titleholder has also been involved in several outreach activities since winning the crown.

She recently visited the OFW Hospital and Diagnostic Center in San Fernando, Pampanga with Department of Migrant Workers Secretary Hans Leo J. Cacdac. She has also taken part in a storytelling session with children from Project PEARLS in Bulacan.

Her appearances reflect the wider Miss Universe Philippines emphasis on pairing pageantry with social initiatives and community engagement.

Fashion with a cause

Charity galas have become an established part of the Miss Universe Philippines calendar, with designers, candidates and titleholders regularly using the runway to promote Filipino craftsmanship while raising support for charitable organisations.

The 2026 Miss Universe Philippines Charity Gala earlier this year also supported Hope for Change, Project PEARLS and Miss Possibilities, reinforcing the organisation’s focus on advocacy alongside fashion and competition.

Impact to expect

Bea Millan-Windorski’s appearance is likely to further strengthen her profile as both a fashion figure and an advocate, while giving added visibility to the charities supported by the gala.
