Music Commission reveals ‘Marvels of Saudi Orchestra’ concert details in London
Tue 10 Sep 2024RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Music Commission has announced the details of the Marvels of Saudi Orchestra concert, scheduled to take place in London on 28th September, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

Paul Pacifico, CEO of the Music Commission, shared at a press conference that the Marvels of Saudi Orchestra initiative is designed to take Saudi music to new levels, make it accessible to a wider audience, encourage intercultural dialogue, and build bridges of understanding among different cultures.

Pacifico noted the orchestra’s previous successes, with performances in Mexico, Paris, and New York, which were made possible by the support of Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, the Minister of Culture and Chairman of the Music Commission. The efforts of talented musicians from the Saudi National Orchestra and choir have also played a crucial role in these achievements.

The London concert will be the fourth performance of the Marvels of Saudi Orchestra, continuing under the patronage of Prince Badr. The event aims to showcase Saudi musical heritage on an international stage, highlighting the rich cultural traditions of Saudi Arabia to a global audience.
