Dubai: In an extraordinary display of speed and efficiency, the organizers of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup UAE 2024 Dubai managed to erect the tournament’s impressive stadium within a record-breaking time of just 25 days, smashing previous construction records for such venues.

Dubai is set to host the Beach Soccer World Cup for the second time, scheduled from February 15 to 25, featuring 16 teams competing in 4 groups.

Setting itself apart from standard specifications, the beach soccer stadium boasts a unique feature: a meticulously crafted sand arena, reaching a depth of at least 40 cm and spanning 36 meters by 27 meters. Opting for a non-traditional beach-front location adds a fresh dimension to the tournament’s ambiance.

Beyond the picturesque sand and sea, the innovative stadium redefines beach soccer within an urban landscape, positioned alongside the city’s vibrant water canal. Departing from the conventional beachside setup, the off-beach stadium offers a stunning backdrop of Dubai’s bustling water canal, showcasing the UAE’s engineering prowess.

Elevating the spectator experience, the stadium is equipped with advanced lighting that illuminates the arena, while a colossal video screen ensures fans catch every moment of the action, whether from VIP areas or the media center.

This remarkable achievement not only highlights Dubai’s sports hosting capabilities but also underscores the UAE’s dedication to innovation and excellence on the global stage.

Jaime Yarza González, FIFA Tournaments Director, lauded the new stadium as the best in the tournament’s history, praising its facilities, construction materials, and the record-breaking speed of its completion.

Traditionally, building a beach soccer stadium takes between 60 to 90 days, a timeline shattered by the “UAE 2024” World Cup stadium.

Despite recent heavy rains, the stadium’s pitch remains unaffected, thanks to the utilization of a special sand type with superior water absorption qualities.

The stadium boasts a capacity of 3,900 spectators, with dedicated entrances and exits for each side, hosting two matches per day. Ticket prices range from AED 20 for early rounds to AED 40 for the final day, with each ticket granting access to both afternoon and evening sessions.
