Rajasthan Royals teams up with NEOM as main partner in long-term agreement

NEOM, KSA: NEOM, a sustainable development project in Saudi Arabia’s northwest, has joined hands with Rajasthan Royals, a premier T20 cricket team in India, as its main partner. This partnership involves displaying NEOM’s logo on Rajasthan Royals’ official team clothing during India’s T20 cricket league in 2024 and 2025. This move aims to raise awareness about NEOM among a global audience.

Furthermore, NEOM’s collaboration with Rajasthan Royals and the Saudi Arabian Cricket Federation aims to promote cricket in Saudi Arabia. This includes providing opportunities for both men and women to excel in the sport and enhancing cricket facilities in the region. HRH Prince Saud bin Mishal Al Saud expressed excitement about the partnership, highlighting its potential to boost cricket’s growth in Saudi Arabia.

Jan Paterson, Managing Director of NEOM Sport, emphasized the importance of using cricket as a tool for social growth. He highlighted the partnership’s focus on promoting cricket among people of all ages and genders in NEOM, contributing to the sport’s development in the Kingdom.

Manoj Badale, Lead Owner of Rajasthan Royals, praised the partnership, emphasizing its positive societal impact. He highlighted the collaboration’s success in elevating cricket within NEOM and its potential to contribute to the sport’s growth in Saudi Arabia.

The Rajasthan Royals partnership also aims to support sports leadership development at NEOM by providing opportunities for knowledge transfer and training for coaches within the NEOM workforce. Overall, this collaboration underscores NEOM’s vision to become a global sports hub and contribute to its dynamic economy while promoting livability for its residents.
