Dubai Sports World launches its largest action-packed edition yet

Dubai: The largest indoor sports and fitness destination in the region, Dubai Sports World (DSW), is officially open for its biggest summer action-packed season yet! This year’s edition was kicked off by HE Saeed Hareb from Dubai Sports Council, Mahir Julfar from Dubai World Trade Centre, former NBA star Dale Ellis, and TV personality Rannvijay Singha.

Organized by Dubai World Trade Centre in partnership with Dubai Sports Council, DSW 2024 runs until September 8, welcoming visitors daily from 8 am to midnight.

Spanning 300,000 square feet, Dubai Sports World offers a diverse range of activities including football, basketball, padel, and more. It features summer camps, sports academies, and ‘Dubai Kids World’ with fun zones like soft play areas and trampolines. This year, it introduces a free-to-use gym and family activities such as foosball and arcade games.

HE Saeed Hareb highlighted DSW’s role in promoting an active lifestyle and community engagement in Dubai. Mahir Julfar emphasized inclusivity and accessibility, aiming to make fitness enjoyable for everyone.

Dale Ellis, impressed by Dubai’s hospitality, sees events like DSW as vital for nurturing young talent and uniting diverse communities through sports. He will lead summer camps focused on skill development and personal growth.

DSW ensures accessibility for all, including People of Determination, with support from Dubai Sports Council and partners. The event includes special activities for children with educational needs, enhancing inclusivity.

Upcoming events include Academy Day on June 29 and Yoga Day on June 30, offering tailored activities for families and fitness enthusiasts.
