Dubai International Baja 2025 will host 94 teams from 30+ nations, including top stars and UAE talent, as titles remain up for grabs.

DUBAI: The Dubai International Baja 2025 is set to deliver an epic finale to the FIA and FIM World Cups, drawing a record number of 94 entries from more than 30 nations. Held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the event runs from November 20–23, 2025, with races through Al Qudra and Hatta’s stunning desert terrain.

This ninth edition features a packed lineup of elite talent, including World Cup leader Juan Cruz Yacopini, local favourite Mohammed Al Balooshi, and quad star Abdulaziz Ahli. Spectators can enjoy free entry at Dubai Festival City Service Area, Hatta Prologue, and Al Marmoom viewing zone, making this one of the most accessible and anticipated events on the rally-raid calendar.

Al Balooshi is aiming for his fourth FIM Bajas title, while Ahli chases a hat-trick of wins on home soil. The motorcycle battle also features Poland’s Konrad Dabrowski, who has been in exceptional form after a recent win in Qatar.

The car category is equally fierce. Argentina’s Yacopini, Czech Republic’s Martin Prokop, and Saudi driver Dania Akeel will face off in a championship-deciding showdown. Akeel, with co-driver Sebastian Delaunay, will race in a Toyota Hilux, hoping to better their recent third-place finish in Qatar.

Adding to the spectacle is the debut of Defender rally-raid machines, with Stéphane Peterhansel, the 14-time Dakar winner, and co-driver Michael Metge lining up alongside Lithuania’s Rokas Baciuska and Spain’s Oriol Vidal Montijano.

Organised by the Emirates Motorsports Organisation (EMSO), the Baja continues to reflect Dubai’s excellence in hosting world-class sports events. H.E. Saeed Harib of Dubai Sports Council highlighted the event’s role in celebrating Dubai’s spirit of endurance and innovation. EMSO President H.E. Khalid Ben Sulayem praised the event’s ability to attract elite talent while remaining open and thrilling for spectators.

With top riders and drivers, exciting machinery, and immersive fan experiences, the Dubai International Baja 2025 will be a true celebration of motorsport, courage, and global camaraderie.
