The World Police Summit in Dubai will focus on artificial intelligence, money laundering and cybercrime from November 16–18, 2026, bringing international police leaders and technology experts together to explore smarter policing and financial crime prevention.
DUBAI: The World Police Summit will bring global law enforcement leaders to Dubai from November 16–18, 2026, with artificial intelligence, money laundering and cybercrime among the major issues on its agenda. The event aims to strengthen international cooperation and explore how emerging technologies can improve investigations and public safety.
A preparatory dialogue held at Dubai Police Officers’ Club on October 16 brought together diplomats, senior police officials and technology specialists to discuss the growing role of digital intelligence in tackling sophisticated criminal activities.
How will AI help police fight crime?
The discussions explored how artificial intelligence can help police analyse information, identify suspicious patterns and support faster investigations.
Experts examined the potential of intelligence-led policing to strengthen decision-making and improve responses to digital threats.
AI-powered systems were also discussed as tools for identifying complex criminal networks and supporting investigations across national borders.
Why is money laundering a major focus?
Financial crime is becoming increasingly complex as criminals exploit digital platforms and international financial networks.
Participants discussed how emerging technologies could help investigators detect suspicious transactions, connect financial intelligence and disrupt illicit activities.
The World Police Summit will provide opportunities for law enforcement agencies, technology companies and financial crime specialists to explore stronger cooperation against money laundering and cyber-enabled fraud.
When and where will the summit take place?
The fifth edition will run from November 16–18 at Dubai World Trade Centre.
Organised by Dubai Police in partnership with DXB LIVE, the event is expected to bring together representatives from more than 90 countries.
According to organisers, more than 220 leaders from law enforcement, academia and the private sector are expected, alongside approximately 150 technology exhibitors.
The three-day programme will feature discussions, demonstrations and opportunities for international collaboration.
What new initiatives are planned?
Organisers have announced an International Organisations Pavilion led by GCCPOL, bringing together approximately 14 organisations.
The pavilion is designed to encourage closer cooperation between international agencies, government bodies, start-ups and technology providers.
A dedicated event application is also expected to help participants schedule meetings and connect with relevant organisations.
Other summit themes include cybersecurity, fraud prevention, digital transformation and emerging security challenges.
Impact to expect
The World Police Summit could strengthen Dubai’s position as an international centre for security innovation and law enforcement cooperation. Its focus on AI, financial crime and digital investigations may encourage new partnerships, improve information-sharing and support more effective responses to increasingly sophisticated criminal threats across the UAE and internationally.
