DUBAI: Dubai is upgrading its roads to make life easier for everyone. A new bridge from Sheikh Zayed Road to Dubai Harbour is being planned as per the directives His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, and Prime Minister of the UAE.

The bridge, which will cost AED 431 million to develop will have two lanes as entry/exit points and can handle up to 6,000 cars every hour, which is a lot! It’s designed to cut down the time it takes to drive from Sheikh Zayed Road to Dubai Harbour from 12 minutes to just 3 minutes. That means less time stuck in traffic and more time enjoying the waterfront.

The Dubai Harbour bridge project also includes improving four intersections along the way to keep traffic moving smoothly. It’s all part of making Dubai Harbour a great place to live and visit, with modern homes, shops, and places to relax.

Shamal Holding, the company behind Dubai Harbour, is focused on creating a community where people can live comfortably and enjoy everything the area has to offer. They’re building luxurious apartments and penthouses with amazing views of the sea and the city skyline.

Located near famous landmarks like the Burj Al Arab and Expo Dubai, Dubai Harbour is becoming a popular spot for living and leisure. Whether you’re into shopping, dining, or just taking a stroll along the waterfront, Dubai Harbour aims to offer something special for everyone.

It is also home to Skydive Dubai, featuring a 770-metre-long runway that extends 550 metres into the Arabian Gulf. A 1.5-kilometre-long development project is also currently underway, featuring a residential complex with 24 towers and about 7,500 apartments.
