Dubai’s Farmers’ Market returns this December at Quranic Park with over 40 Emirati farmers, local producers, and family-friendly events.

DUBAI: Dubai Municipality has opened registration for the highly anticipated fifth season of the Farmers’ Market, an annual community initiative that promotes local agriculture, sustainability, and family engagement. Set to return to Quranic Park in Al Khawaneej, the market will run every Saturday and Sunday from December 6 ,2025 to February 8, 2026.

This season will feature 41 Emirati farmers and 16 local product and supply owners, offering fresh, organic, and locally sourced goods to residents and tourists alike. From fruits and vegetables to dates, honey, and dairy products, the market is a celebration of national produce, homegrown entrepreneurship, and environmentally conscious living.

More than just a venue for fresh food, the Farmers’ Market has grown into a civic space that brings people together through workshops, cultural activities, and interactive entertainment. The previous edition recorded a 49% increase in visitors, drawing over 102,000 attendees, and cementing the event as a must-visit weekend experience in Dubai.

The initiative supports Dubai Municipality’s wider commitment to sustainable agriculture and food security. Farmers are offered logistical assistance, training programmes, access to agricultural supplies, and ongoing advisory services — all aimed at reinforcing their role in the UAE’s economic future.

Mohammed Ahli, Acting Director of the Public Parks and Recreational Facilities Department, said: “The market is more than a space for local farmers to sell their produce. It is a civic experience that brings people together, strengthens appreciation for Emirati products, and encourages sustainable consumer habits.”

New features for this season include educational workshops, interactive sessions, and community-focused events designed to engage all age groups and deepen public awareness of the value of local production.

Registration is now open at dm.gov.ae with submissions accepted until 20 November 2025. Interested Emirati farmers and local businesses are encouraged to upload the required documents to secure their spot.

As Dubai continues to lead in quality of life and environmental initiatives, the Farmers’ Market represents a thriving intersection of culture, commerce, and community.
