Ride stops mid-air leaving people terrified in the Philippines

Amusement park visitors were being tossed around on the rotating ride called the Dream Twister when it stopped mid-air in Manila, Philippines. At least 12 people were left hanging 20 feet above the ground for a few minutes before park staff were able to control the ride again and bring them down.

No one was seriously injured but one of them was reportedly bruised after jumping down when the ride was lowered at the SkyRanch MOA in Pasay City.

Onlooker Mark Jayson Astudillo said, “We were looking at the shore when we noticed something was wrong. People were stuck for almost three minutes.

“Everyone was removed from the ride but someone was injured when she fell. They were panicking and wanted to get off as soon as possible.
