Etihad Guest Jaywan benefits give eligible Royal cardholders up to 10% off selected fares plus priority airport services in Abu Dhabi.

DUBAI: Etihad Guest Jaywan benefits are expanding for UAE travellers, with Etihad Airways and Al Etihad Payments introducing exclusive flight discounts and priority airport services for eligible Jaywan Royal cardholders.

The agreement was signed at Arabian Travel Market 2026 in Dubai and strengthens an existing partnership between Etihad and Al Etihad Payments, the operator of Jaywan, the UAE’s national domestic card scheme.

The move also makes Etihad Guest the first airline loyalty programme to introduce dedicated benefits for Jaywan cardholders.

What benefits will Jaywan Royal cardholders receive?

Eligible Etihad Guest members holding Jaywan Royal cards can receive up to 10% off Etihad-operated flights when booking qualifying Comfort or Deluxe fares directly through Etihad Airways.

Cardholders will also receive Priority Access when travelling through Abu Dhabi. The service covers priority check-in, boarding and baggage handling, potentially making the airport journey quicker and more convenient.

To qualify, travellers must be logged into their Etihad Guest account and use an eligible Jaywan Royal card to pay for qualifying Comfort or Deluxe tickets.

The combination of fare savings and airport privileges gives the card a practical travel benefit rather than limiting rewards to everyday domestic payments.

Why are Etihad and Jaywan expanding their partnership?

The latest agreement builds on a Memorandum of Understanding signed by the two organisations in October 2025.

Etihad took another major step in August when it became the first airline globally to accept Jaywan as a payment method for flight bookings. UAE customers can use their Jaywan cards directly when booking Etihad flights online across the airline’s network.

Jaywan officially launched in July 2026 and is operated by Al Etihad Payments, a subsidiary of the Central Bank of the UAE. The domestic card scheme is designed around the needs of UAE consumers while supporting the country’s wider digital payments infrastructure.

The new Etihad Guest Jaywan benefits extend that relationship from simply accepting payments to providing rewards specifically linked to travel.

What does it mean for UAE travellers?

For frequent Etihad passengers who already hold an eligible Jaywan Royal card, the proposition is straightforward: qualifying bookings can deliver both a lower fare and a smoother airport experience.

The partnership also gives Jaywan another high-profile use case as the UAE continues expanding adoption of its domestic payment system.

Etihad, meanwhile, gains another way to connect its loyalty programme with UAE-based customers and encourage travellers to book directly through its digital channels.

With Etihad Guest Jaywan benefits now covering both discounts and priority services, the partnership demonstrates how the national payment card is moving beyond basic transactions towards lifestyle and travel rewards.

Impact to expect

Convenience. The partnership could encourage wider use of Jaywan among UAE travellers while giving eligible Etihad Guest members a stronger reason to book flights directly with the airline.
