DUBAI: Landmarks across the UAE have been lit up with the message “UAE Stands with Lebanon,” along with the Lebanese flag and map, as a sign of solidarity with the Lebanese people. This gesture reflects the UAE’s support for Lebanon during a difficult time. Famous sites like Burj Khalifa, Mubadala Tower, and ADNOC Building are part of this display of unity.

The campaign was initiated by President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, with guidance from Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister, and under the supervision of Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court and Chair of the International Humanitarian and Philanthropic Council.

Running from Tuesday, October 8, to Monday, October 21, 2024, the campaign has gathered 20,000 boxes of relief aid, including food and shelter supplies. Collections are being held at the Dubai Exhibition Centre in Expo City and the Abu Dhabi Ports Cruise Terminal.
