ABU DHABI: Reinforcing the UAE’s commitment to tolerance and coexistence, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, welcomed Sadhguru to his Majlis in Abu Dhabi. The meeting highlighted the importance of intercultural dialogue and spiritual awareness in fostering global peace and stability.

Sheikh Nahyan commended Sadhguru’s efforts in promoting human values, calling his initiatives a global model for peace and tolerance. Discussions centred on enhancing environmental sustainability, advancing sustainable development, and supporting international cooperation.

Emphasising the link between peace and spiritual balance, Sheikh Nahyan stated that tolerance is a key pillar of security and stability. He also underscored the UAE’s leadership in embedding tolerance and coexistence into national and international policies, strengthening cultural dialogue and global cooperation under President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s vision.

Sadhguru praised the UAE’s model of peaceful coexistence, where people of diverse backgrounds live in harmony. He also highlighted the nation’s contributions to environmental sustainability, advocating for greater international collaboration in this field.

Recognised globally for his spiritual teachings and sustainability initiatives, Sadhguru has launched movements such as “Rally for Rivers”, which protects India’s rivers, and “Save Soil”, aimed at preventing soil degradation. His work encourages global environmental responsibility and proactive government action.
