Dubai: The Mothers’ Endowment campaign, initiated by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, unveiled six convenient channels for receiving donations and contributions to establish an endowment fund dedicated to providing education sustainably to millions worldwide.

Operating under the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives umbrella, the campaign honors mothers by accepting donations in their name, aiming to empower underprivileged individuals through education and training opportunities.

The campaign serves to reinforce the values of filial piety, kindness, empathy, and solidarity while highlighting the pivotal role of mothers in nurturing families and children, thus solidifying the UAE’s humanitarian stance.

Donors can contribute cash through various channels, including the campaign’s website, SMS, bank transfers, the campaign’s call center, the DubaiNow app, or Jood.ae, Dubai’s community contributions platform.

Individuals, businesses, and institutions, both within and outside the UAE, are encouraged to donate through the campaign’s website (mothersfund.ae).

Those interested in contributing can reach the dedicated call center toll-free at 8009999 from 10:00 to 17:00, seven days a week, to facilitate donations supporting vulnerable individuals’ education.

Direct bank transfers are also feasible, with donations directed to the campaign’s official Emirates Islamic Bank account (AE790340003708472909201) in UAE dirhams.

One-time donations can be made via SMS by texting “Mother” to designated numbers provided by du and etisalat, with options ranging from AED 10 to AED 500.

The Mothers’ Endowment campaign offers the convenience of donating through the DubaiNow app’s ‘Donations’ tab, as Digital Dubai collaborates with the campaign to streamline contributions.

Furthermore, contributions can be made by establishing a dedicated portfolio for institutions and individuals via the Dubai community contributions platform Jood (jood.ae), allowing various entities to launch mini-campaigns encouraging participation from their networks.

Building upon the success of previous Ramadan charity drives, the Mothers’ Endowment campaign pledges to allocate its proceeds towards supporting education and vocational training globally, equipping individuals with essential tools and skills for independent, dignified lives and eventual integration into the job market.
