ABU DHABI: Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, was honoured by the Global Sikh Community at his Majlis for his exceptional contributions to fostering tolerance, coexistence, and interfaith dialogue worldwide.

This prestigious recognition was presented by Dr. Navdeep Singh Bansal, founder of the Sikh Awards, and Surender Singh Kandhari, Chairman of the Guru Nanak Darbar Temple in Jebel Ali. Their gesture celebrated Sheikh Nahyan’s relentless efforts in creating a society grounded in peace, mutual respect, and human fraternity.

In his speech, Sheikh Nahyan credited the UAE’s leadership for prioritising these universal values. He stated, “The UAE, under President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is dedicated to supporting and promoting the values of tolerance, peaceful coexistence, and human fraternity.
