Today, the Global Village in the UAE celebrated its 49th National Day with a host of vibrant festivities, drawing in an international crowd. CEO Bader Anwahi expressed pride in these events, which showcased the park’s rich cultural offerings. Highlights included the inauguration of the “Spectacular Fireworks Button” to honor distinguished guests, and various art installations celebrating UAE’s heritage and diversity.
The park was adorned with significant installations, like nearly a hundred vibrant falcons in Arabian Square and the newly-decorated Fiesta Street, draped in the UAE’s national colors. These celebrations also led to Global Village securing three Guinness World Records for innovative displays made from UAE flags, entrance tickets, and bottle caps.
As part of its Silver Jubilee Season, Global Village is on track to break 25 records. The event also featured “Emarat, Land of Peace,” an operetta directed by Nasser Ibrahim, depicting the UAE’s rich history and milestones. Alongside these special events, visitors enjoyed a wide array of international cuisines and shopping opportunities, with a plethora of stalls offering unique items and souvenirs.
