Fusion of Sufi Kathak, Folk, Western, and Arabic Music: A Musical Treat of Global Fusion Concert by Alpen Capital

• Sufi Kathak dance maestro, Manjari Chaturvedi leads the concert in Dubai

Dubai: The 19^th edition of the Global Fusion concert hosted by Alpen Capital and Alpen Asset Advisors (Alpen) showcased an enthralling blend of Sufi music and dance. The concert mesmerized the audience at the Jumeriah Beach Hotel, with Sufi elements of revolution, vibration, rhythm, and harmony through a brilliant amalgamation of Sufi Kathak with music from different parts of the globe.

The Sufi Kathak dance maestro from India, Manjari Chaturvedi led an ensemble of highly talented and accomplished artists from around the world and brought to life some beautiful performances which showcased a whole array of creative expressions.

The line-up of artists included Andy Suzuki from Japan on the saxophone & flute, Greg Ellis from the USA on the percussions, Amal Ahmed Mena from Iraq on the oud, and Narek Kachatryans from Armenia on the piano. Sumaiya Ibrahim Abdulla Bukhashim, a promising young Emirati musician played the Kanoon with the ensemble. A group of artists belonging to the Manganhar community of folk musicians from the deserts of western Rajasthan, India gave a memorable performance.
