UAE’s illustrious space sector marks the second launch anniversary of the emirates first ‘all-Emirati’ mission to space, the KhalifaSat.

Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center, the core behind all Emirati space initiatives and the unit in-charge of the KhalifaSat mission, lauded the achievement on Twitter on Thursday, welcoming in the nation’s next endeavour.

“Today marks the 2nd launch anniversary of KhalifaSat. While KhalifaSat continues its mission, we have begun development on a new Emirati satellite, MBZ-SAT, which will be the region’s most advanced high-accuracy, high resolution imaging satellite.”
