ABU DHABI: His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein of Jordan arrived in the UAE today for a fraternal visit. He was warmly welcomed by UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan at Al Bateen Airport.

The King’s arrival marks a strengthening of the strong bonds between the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the UAE. Also present to greet His Majesty were several senior officials, including Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Lt. General H.H. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Other dignitaries included Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President, Humaid Obaid Abushibs, President of the UAE Accountability Authority, and several other senior officials. The visit highlights the strong, ongoing relationship between the two nations.
