ABU DHABI: The UAE May fuel prices have been officially released by the Fuel Price Committee. The approved rates, effective May 1, reflect minor reductions across all fuel categories, providing relief for motorists.

According to the latest update, Super 98 petrol: AED 2.58 per litre

Special 95 petrol: AED 2.47 per litre

E-Plus 91 petrol: AED 2.39 per litre

Diesel: AED 2.52 per litre

These revised UAE May fuel prices are slightly lower than the April rates, aligning with fluctuations in global oil markets.

The Fuel Price Committee reviews prices monthly, adjusting them in line with international benchmarks and market dynamics. This transparent pricing mechanism has been in place since 2015, ensuring residents and businesses pay fair, real-time rates.

Motorists welcomed the modest price drop, especially ahead of summer travel plans. Taxi operators and logistics companies, often impacted by diesel changes, are expected to benefit from the AED0.04 per litre drop in diesel rates.

The UAE May fuel prices update plays a vital role in monthly budget planning for households and businesses alike. “Even small changes make a difference when you’re filling up daily,” noted one Dubai delivery driver.
