Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed has directed all Dubai government entities to integrate services for individuals and businesses into a unified digital ecosystem within one year, marking a major milestone in the emirate’s AI-driven transformation.
DUBAI: Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed has issued a sweeping directive for full digital integration of Dubai government services, ordering all entities to consolidate services for individuals and businesses into a single unified digital ecosystem within one year. The announcement came during his visit to Digital Dubai, where he declared that the emirate has entered a new era of autonomous city management powered by data and artificial intelligence.
His Highness tasked Digital Dubai with coordinating across all government entities to oversee implementation and ensure complete integration. Services will be delivered through streamlined, specialised platforms designed to reduce time and effort for residents and businesses alike.
Speaking during the visit, Sheikh Hamdan said the goal is to make life easier, simplify procedures, and reduce the number of platforms, delivering more efficient and seamless services that strengthen Dubai’s competitiveness as a global hub for business and investment.
Several pioneering strategic projects were launched during the visit, spanning AI-driven city management, smart sensing infrastructure, agentic AI for government services, and the second generation of Government Resource Planning Systems. The projects cover finance, human resources, procurement, contracts, and asset management within a unified operational model.
The Dubai Data and Statistics Establishment also showcased initiatives aimed at transforming data into accessible knowledge and economic resources. These include targets to support GDP growth by more than AED 10 billion within two years, and to position Dubai among the world’s top ten cities in the Government AI Readiness index.
The digital integration push forms part of Dubai’s broader ambition to contribute AED 100 billion annually to its economy through digital transformation, in line with the objectives of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.
