Sharjah activated flexible education system for private schools from April 23 to 25

Sharjah: Schools in Sharjah will implement a flexible education system from April 23 to 25. The system, as announced by the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA), will offer hybrid, in-person, or distance learning options. This decision is in response to the unusual weather conditions that recently affected the country.

According to the authority, decisions on the education system for the next three days have been left up to the management of individual educational institutions. These institutions can choose either in-person or distance learning or combine both in a hybrid system according to their needs and without requiring the authority’s approval.

However, educational institutions have been instructed to notify the authority about their decision by emailing to [email protected].

The authority has decided to allow individual institutions to choose their own option while considering the country’s post-weather situation and the well-being and safety of parents, students, and teaching staff.
