Salik toll rates introduce revised peak and off peak timings in Ramadan to support smoother traffic flow across Dubai.
DUBAI: Salik Ramadan toll rates have been officially announced for the Holy Month, with revised peak and off peak timings designed to support smoother traffic flow and efficient mobility throughout the day.
Under the approved schedule, from Monday to Saturday peak hours will apply from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a toll charge of AED 6. Off peak hours will be charged at AED 4 from 7:00 am to 9:00 am and from 5:00 pm to 2:00 am. The period between 2:00 am and 7:00 am will remain toll free.
On Sundays, excluding public holidays and special occasions, a flat toll rate of AED 4 will apply throughout the day. No toll will be charged between 2:00 am and 7:00 am.
Salik Ramadan toll rates reflect shifting traffic patterns during Ramadan, when working hours and school schedules are adjusted and evening mobility increases after iftar. The variable pricing system is intended to distribute traffic more evenly across key roads and reduce congestion during high demand periods.
Dubai’s toll gate operator encouraged customers to visit its official channels for full details of the updated timings and charges. Salik also extended its warmest wishes for a blessed Ramadan and safe, seamless journeys for all road users during the Holy Month.
