The Dubai Taxi Company fleet expansion increases total vehicles from 6,217 to 6,817, pushing its market share to 47 percent. The rollout of the new taxis will begin in July 2026, following a phased plan designed to maintain operational efficiency and service quality.
Company officials said the expansion reflects confidence in Dubai’s growing transport sector, supported by population growth, tourism, and urban development. The structured introduction of vehicles is expected to optimise asset use while ensuring consistent service standards across the fleet.
