Dubai’s economy grew 4.7% in the first nine months of 2025, recording AED355 billion in GDP, driven by diverse sector growth.

DUBAI: Dubai’s economy expanded by 4.7% in the first nine months of 2025, reaching a total GDP of AED355 billion, with AED113.8 billion recorded in the third quarter alone. The performance highlights the Emirate’s economic resilience and progress underpinned by strong leadership, forward-looking policies and cross-sector coordination.

Crown Prince H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum said the economic results reflect the vision of Dubai’s leadership, with disciplined execution and a people-centric development model driving prosperity.

Among the fastest-growing sectors, Human Health and Social Work activities led with a 15.4% growth rate, contributing AED5.3 billion to GDP. The Financial and Insurance sector followed closely, growing 8.5% and adding AED42.8 billion, while the Construction sector also rose 8.5%, contributing AED23.9 billion.

Helal Saeed Almarri, Director General of Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism, described the results as a testament to strategic alignment between government and private sector, supported by a business-friendly environment. He reaffirmed commitment to the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.

Digital Dubai Director General Hamad Al Mansoori said the data confirms the strength of a diversified economy powered by digital innovation and advanced technologies. He called it a “signal of confidence and optimism” for investors and society alike.

Younus Al Nasser, Chief Executive of Dubai Data and Statistics Establishment, highlighted the role of integrated data systems in guiding policy and investment decisions, while DEDC CEO Hadi Badri noted the broad-based nature of growth across established and emerging sectors.

The Dubai Data and Statistics Establishment is currently re-estimating GDP time series to further improve statistical accuracy, reflecting Dubai’s ongoing commitment to transparency and sustainable development.
