DUBAI: Dubai is preparing to mark the 54th Eid Al Etihad with an expansive, fresh lineup of festivities designed to celebrate the UAE’s unity in vibrant style. Organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), this year’s celebrations will span from 1 to 3 December, offering residents and visitors a spectacular mix of fireworks, concerts, cultural experiences, and retail offers across the city. The 54th Eid Al Etihad promises an unforgettable weekend filled with national pride and immersive entertainment that highlights the harmony and modernity of Dubai.
The citywide programme for the 54th Eid Al Etihad features dazzling firework displays, live entertainment from regional icons including Balqees, Diana Haddad, and Shamma Hamdan, and parades like the grand procession at City Walk involving over 1,000 participants. Adding to the excitement are drone shows at Global Village and a cultural operetta titled “From The Desert To The Stars.”
Cultural showcases such as Al Ayala and Yola performances, interactive art workshops, and traditional storytelling will take place at over 20 locations across Dubai. Meanwhile, malls like City Centre Mirdif, Ibn Battuta Mall, and Dubai Festival City Mall will offer engaging experiences including fashion showcases, pottery workshops, and exclusive discounts.
In addition, hotels and major attractions including Dubai Frame, Mushrif Park, and Children’s City will host themed performances, military bands, horse shows, and family-friendly entertainment.
