DEWA opens New Future Customer Happiness Centre at Ibn Battuta Mall
Mon 05 Aug 2024DUBAI: Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, the CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), has opened the new Future Customer Happiness Centre at Ibn Battuta Mall’s Persia Court. He was joined by other DEWA leaders for the launch.
Al Tayer shared that DEWA is committed to helping Dubai become a top smart city. The centre aims to provide excellent digital services and improve customer satisfaction. DEWA’s services are now 99.21% smart, and in 2023, customer happiness was rated at 98.3%. DEWA also scored 100% in an international digital customer experience standard.
The new centre has the latest technology, including video chat screens to speak with DEWA staff and private booths for personal interactions. It also features DEWA’s virtual assistant, “Rammas,” which uses AI. Services include paying bills through various machines and using DEWA’s smart app. There are also chat options like Hayak for text and video, and Ash’ir for sign language.

The centre is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. It is now located where the China Court used to be and is open during the mall’s hours. DEWA continues to offer support through its website, app, and Customer Care Centre.
