DUBAI: The Dawoodi Bohra community in the UAE has generously donated AED1 million to the Fathers’ Endowment campaign, an initiative launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to honour fathers and support healthcare for the less fortunate.

Organised under the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI), the campaign promotes charitable giving and social solidarity by allowing individuals to donate in their fathers’ names. The initiative strengthens the UAE’s reputation as a global leader in humanitarian efforts.

Kinana Jamaluddin, Representative of Sultan Al Bohra and Head of the Bohra community in Dubai, praised the initiative, calling it a “noble effort to support those in need while upholding Islamic values and the UAE’s culture of generosity.” He highlighted the community’s commitment to fostering sustainable healthcare and social welfare.
