Air India Express Gulf flight suspension has been extended until 2 March 2026 amid ongoing regional tensions.

NEW DELHI: Air India Express Gulf flight suspension has been extended until 23:59 hrs IST on 2 March 2026, the airline confirmed in an official statement on Sunday.

The suspension applies to flights operating to and from Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. The airline said impacted guests are being informed directly through their registered contact details.

Passengers have been advised to check their flight status on the airline’s official website and ensure their contact information is updated. The Air India Express Gulf flight suspension affects travellers who had planned journeys within the specified period as regional security concerns continue.

To support affected guests, the airline announced change and cancellation waivers. Travellers who booked tickets for travel to or from the Gulf region up to 28 February 2026, for journeys scheduled until 5 March 2026, are being offered the option to reschedule to a future date without any date change fees. Alternatively, passengers may cancel their bookings and receive a full refund to the original mode of payment.

Guests can manage their bookings online or use the airline’s 24 hour AI powered assistant service for assistance. The airline reiterated its commitment to supporting customers during the disruption.

“We appreciate the patience and understanding of our guests during this time,” an Air India Express spokesperson said.

The Air India Express Gulf flight suspension comes as airlines across the region continue to monitor the evolving security situation and adjust operations accordingly.
