Dubai: A new survey by Skyscanner reveals that 59% of UAE travellers are exploring new destinations for their summer getaways, prioritising family-friendly locations that offer unique experiences beyond traditional tourist hubs.
With 55% of UAE residents planning to escape the intense summer heat with international holidays, the shift towards lesser-known destinations is strong. Notably, 48% have yet to book their travel but are actively searching, showing a growing openness to spontaneous, value-packed adventures.
To support these evolving preferences, Skyscanner highlights three visa-free destinations accessible with a valid UAE residency visa: Georgia, Montenegro, and Kazakhstan—each offering cultural richness, outdoor activities, and family-friendly attractions.
