Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Finance Week (ADFW) will hold its third edition from December 9 to 12, 2024. With ADQ as the headline partner, the event is expected to welcome over 20,000 financial leaders, experts, and executives, representing more than $42.5 trillion in assets under management.
This year’s ADFW will feature over 60 major events, 350 themed sessions, and 600 influential speakers, focusing on the theme “Welcome to the Capital of Capital.” Discussions will centre on five key capitals: economic, human, cultural, environmental, and technological, highlighting Abu Dhabi’s position as a global financial hub.
The official opening on December 9 will bring together government officials, investment leaders, and financial VIPs. Flagship forums include the Abu Dhabi Economic Forum, Asset Abu Dhabi, RESOLVE 2024, Fintech Abu Dhabi, and the Abu Dhabi Sustainable Finance Forum (ADSFF).
World-renowned speakers confirmed for the event include Ray Dalio, Founder of Bridgewater Associates, and Larry Fink, CEO of BlackRock. Other notable participants include Sergio Ermotti, CEO of UBS; Jane Fraser, CEO of Citigroup; and Hana Al Rostamani, Group CEO of First Abu Dhabi Bank. AI and innovation will take centre stage, with insights from H.E. Carme Artigas Brugal, Co-Chair of the UN AI Advisory Board, and Peter Abraam, Chief Strategy Officer at IHC.
