Dubai: The Consulate General of India in Dubai is pleased to announce the successful conclusion of its Amnesty Facilitation operations, which began on September 1, 2024. Facilitation Centres at the Consulate and Al Awir have played a vital role in assisting Indian citizens in accessing the benefits of the UAE Visa Amnesty initiative.
Throughout this operation, in partnership with various Indian diaspora organizations, the consulate successfully supported more than 15,000 service seekers, including issuing 2117 passports, and 3589 emergency certificates, and securing more than 3700 exit permits. Many individuals benefited from our guidance in obtaining fee and penalty waivers from UAE authorities.
With the conclusion of this operation, the consulate extends its heartfelt gratitude to the UAE Government for its unwavering support. The consulate also thanks to the dedicated volunteers from diaspora organizations who played an instrumental role in making this initiative a success.
