Watch 2 Hindi contemporary plays for free at Children’s City, Dubai

Dubai: Staging two fantastic Hindi plays written by Manav Kaul, Dawn Theatre Productions brings ‘Park’ and ‘Giving Up on Godot’ to the stage in Dubai at Children’s City, Creek Park, on March 11 and 18, 2023, respectively.

Dawn Theatre Productions is a local homegrown production house known for producing high-quality Hindi lighthearted and entertaining plays for the Indian and Asian communities in Dubai.

‘Park’ and ‘Giving up on Godot’ are two power packed scripts that will be studded with brilliant actors from the Dubai Theatre circuit and directed to finesse by Huda Bhaldar.

Welcome to ‘PARK’, a Hindi play by Manav Kaul.

It’s a Comedy about space – literally and metaphorically.

What starts off as light-hearted banter evolves into a serious conflict about space, territory, and ownership. Get ready for some fun and action on stage!

Brief about ‘Giving up on Godot’:

Manav Kaul’s ‘GIVING UP ON GODOT’ is a take on Samuel Becket’s classic play ‘Waiting for Godot’ but quite a twist, and turning away from the existential endless wait. The ‘Giving Up’  is of more value and how we hustle to that stage despite our instinct and upbringing, is epic! In a land where everyone is ‘in waiting,’ a writer awakes to find himself in a correctional facility.

Who runs this place? and what are they being treated for?

In this edgy and farcical world of warring ideas and moral breakdowns, no one is spared, no one is innocent and no one can remain a mere spectator.
