Expo Centre Sharjah unveils rich 2024 calendar, with 2.5 million visitors recorded in 2023

Expo Centre Sharjah (ECS) has shared its plan for 2024, with 49 events happening in Sharjah and nearby places like Khorfakkan and Al Dhaid. These events help Sharjah’s businesses and make the city a great place for trade, tourism, and culture. ECS aims to support the economy and make Sharjah more diverse and sustainable.

The events include big shows like the Watch and Jewellery Middle East Show, the Sharjah Real Estate Exhibition – ACRES, Ramadan Nights, Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival, Sharjah International Book Fair, and the National Career Exhibition. These events bring people together and boost different important sectors.

Sultan Al Owais, who leads ECS, talked about how these events help the UAE’s economy grow. He said that ECS plays a crucial role in making Sharjah a top destination for business and tourism.

The CEO of ECS, Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, explained that they organize events carefully, thinking about what people are interested in. ECS has become popular, with over 2.5 million people attending its events each year.

This year’s calendar started with the SteelFab 2024 exhibition, featuring companies from 35 countries. More events are coming up, like the Xposure International Photography Festival, Ramadan Nights, UAE School and Nursery Show, and Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival.

The plan for the rest of 2024 includes events like the Eid Al Adha Exhibition, International Government Communication Forum, Watch and Jewellery Middle East Show, Emirates Perfumes and Oud Exhibition, International Education Show, National Career Exhibition, and Sharjah International Book Fair.

Expo Al Dhaid and Expo Khorfakkan, which are connected to ECS, also have exciting events lined up, like the Al Dhaid Agriculture Exhibition, Electronics Expo, and Khorfakkan Book Fair.
