SHARJAH: The skies just got a little friendlier for young travellers. Sharjah Airport Authority (SAA), in partnership with Kalimat Group, has launched a creative new initiative to promote children’s travel education in a fun and engaging way.

The campaign aims to turn airports into learning zones—encouraging kids to explore, ask questions, and get comfortable with the idea of flying. It’s all part of Sharjah’s bigger vision to blend knowledge and real-world experiences, and to boost cultural awareness among children.

This move isn’t just about planes and terminals—it’s about turning Sharjah Airport into a place that inspires young minds. The collaboration shows how the airport is stepping beyond just travel services to become a hub for education, creativity, and social good.

At the heart of the project is a charming storybook titled “Fasten Your Seatbelt!” Developed by Kalimat Group and Sharjah Airport Authority, the book follows the travel adventures of siblings Rashid and Dana as they prepare for their first flight.

Through their journey, kids learn what to expect at the airport—from packing bags and security checks to boarding gates. Everything is explained in a simple, friendly tone that’s easy for children to understand and enjoy.

The idea is to make kids feel confident about flying and transform the whole airport experience into something exciting, not overwhelming. By introducing children to travel through storytelling, the initiative helps reduce anxiety and spark curiosity.

Sharjah Airport Authority says this is just one of many steps in creating a smarter, more welcoming space for families. With the Kalimat Group on board, the story’s just beginning—and it’s already taking off.
