JETT Visa Intelligence brings visa eligibility, documents, pricing and applications into AI-assisted travel planning for more than 200 nationalities.
DUBAI: JETT Visa Intelligence has launched in the UAE with technology designed to bring one of international travel’s biggest pain points, checking and applying for visas, directly into AI-assisted trip planning.
Launched by UAE-based Musafir Holdings, JETT is a standalone travel technology business offering visa services alongside technology for travel agencies and corporate travel programmes.
Its headline product is an end-to-end visa booking platform covering passport holders from more than 200 nationalities travelling to over 120 destinations. Musafir says it is the first platform in the region to integrate the complete visa application and processing journey with AI assistants through Model Context Protocol, or MCP.
The significance is straightforward. Travellers increasingly use AI assistants to research destinations, build itineraries and compare travel options, but visa requirements can interrupt that journey. Eligibility can vary according to nationality, residency and destination, while documentation and processing requirements can add further complexity.
JETT aims to put that information into the same digital journey.
Through its Visa MCP technology, compatible AI assistants can retrieve information from JETT’s visa intelligence system based on a traveller’s circumstances. This can include eligibility, visa-free or visa-on-arrival information, document requirements, processing details, pricing and destination comparisons.
Availability through individual AI platforms will still depend on each platform’s own review and approval processes.
JETT Visa Intelligence is also designed for more conventional travel channels. Consumers can access the technology through Musafir’s website and app, while airlines, online travel agencies, travel agencies and travel management companies can integrate visa capabilities through a B2B API. The technology already powers Musafir’s consumer visa operations.
For travellers, features include passport OCR, document guidance, multi-traveller applications, payments and application tracking.
The wider JETT business also includes a corporate booking tool connecting bookings, policies, approvals, payments, expenses and reporting. A separate travel-agent platform covers flights, hotels, visas, transfers and activities alongside back-office and payment tools.
The launch comes days before Arabian Travel Market 2026, where Musafir Holdings plans to showcase JETT from September 14 to 17 at Dubai World Trade Centre. ATM itself is putting AI, innovation and personalised travel among the major themes of this year’s event.
Impact to expect
AI-powered visa intelligence could make trip planning more seamless by bringing entry requirements into the booking journey earlier, while giving travel companies another way to automate visa services.
