flydubai starts flights to two destinations in Pakistan from Dubai

Dubai: flydubai announced that it will start flying to Islamabad and Lahore in Pakistan beginning July 1st, 2024. The flights will operate daily from Terminal 2 at Dubai International Airport.

Hamad Obaidalla, flydubai’s Chief Commercial Officer, highlighted the significance of Pakistan as a key market for the airline. Since their initial operations to Pakistan in 2010, starting with Karachi, there has been consistent demand for travel. With the introduction of daily services to Islamabad and Lahore, flydubai aims to provide more opportunities for passengers to explore Dubai, as well as destinations across the GCC region and beyond.

In addition to Islamabad and Lahore, flydubai already serves several other cities in Pakistan including Faisalabad, Karachi, Multan, Quetta, and Sialkot.

Islamabad, Pakistan’s capital, is known for its blend of modernity and natural beauty, offering visitors museums, picturesque parks, and more.

Sudhir Sreedharan, flydubai’s Senior Vice President for Commercial Operations in UAE, GCC, Africa, and the Indian Subcontinent, emphasized that the new daily services to Islamabad and Lahore will enhance convenience and reliability for travelers between the UAE and Pakistan. The flights will be operated using flydubai’s Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, promising passengers an upgraded travel experience with enhanced onboard facilities.

This expansion underscores flydubai’s commitment to strengthening air connectivity between Dubai and Pakistan, catering to the growing travel demand and facilitating smoother journeys for passengers across these routes.
