DUBAI: Emirates is celebrating the spirit of Ramadan with a host of services for fasting passengers, ensuring a comfortable and meaningful journey. From special meal boxes to dedicated prayer spaces, the airline is catering to customers both in-flight and at its lounges.

Passengers will receive complimentary Iftar meal boxes at select boarding gates, containing dates, laban, water, and a banana. Onboard, travellers across all cabin classes to select destinations will enjoy nutritionally balanced Ramadan meal boxes, featuring light bites, sweet treats, and traditional wraps, served alongside regular hot meals.

At Emirates Lounges in Dubai, Jeddah, and Cairo, passengers can indulge in traditional Arabic dishes, sweets, and drinks, including kunafa, baklava, jallab, and laban. Lounges also provide dedicated prayer rooms for a peaceful worship experience.

Emirates enhances Ramadan travel with Iftar meal boxes, lounge services, special entertainment, for seamless passenger experience.

To help passengers observe their fast accurately, Emirates uses a special tool to calculate Iftar timings based on flight coordinates. The captain will announce the precise moment for breaking the fast.

During Ramadan, Emirates’ ice entertainment system will feature religious content, popular TV dramas, and podcasts in Arabic and Urdu. Additionally, passengers flying for Umrah to Jeddah and Medina can check in one 5-litre bottle of Zamzam water at select airports.

To ensure exceptional service, Emirates has also introduced Ramadan awareness training for its cabin crew and ground teams, equipping them with cultural knowledge to better assist fasting passengers.
