Air Arabia expands its global network with double daily Sharjah–London Gatwick flights, starting 29 March 2026, enhancing UAE–UK connectivity.

SHARJAH: Air Arabia has announced the launch of a new non-stop service connecting Sharjah to London Gatwick, marking a major expansion of the airline’s international network. The new route will commence operations on 29 March 2026 with double daily flights, offering passengers increased flexibility and travel options between the UAE and the United Kingdom.

The launch of this service represents a strategic milestone in Air Arabia’s expansion journey. It also supports growing business and leisure travel demand while enhancing trade relations between both countries. By offering cost-effective connectivity, Air Arabia continues to reinforce its position as a key player in the low-cost aviation sector.

Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia, described the London Gatwick route as a landmark addition to the airline’s services. “The launch of our new service to London Gatwick marks a significant milestone in Air Arabia’s ongoing growth journey. This expansion reflects our continued commitment to connecting our key markets with greater reach and convenience while delivering the value-driven travel experience Air Arabia is known for,” he said.

He noted that the addition of the UK capital to the network reflects the airline’s strategy to offer affordable, direct flights from Sharjah International Airport to key global cities. The route is expected to serve both leisure and business travellers looking for reliable and convenient options to travel between the UAE and the UK.

Jonathan Pollard, Chief Commercial Officer at London Gatwick, welcomed Air Arabia’s arrival, noting strong passenger demand for Middle Eastern routes. “It is an exciting time for another operator to join London Gatwick following the recent government approval for routine use of our Northern Runway and we look forward to welcoming Air Arabia in March,” he said.

With the Sharjah–London Gatwick launch, Air Arabia now further cements its role in connecting the Middle East with major global destinations while staying true to its customer-centric, value-driven philosophy.
