Air Arabia launches new City Check-in facility in Sharjah

Sharjah: The newest City Check-in facility for Air Arabia, the first and largest low-cost carrier (LCC) in the Middle East and North Africa, has opened in Muweilah, Sharjah, directly across from Al Madinah Shopping Center.

The city check-in service will let travelers check their luggage and pick up their boarding passes at a site close to them anywhere in the Emirates, with the goal of enhancing convenience and flexibility for passengers. When a passenger arrives at the airport, they can go straight to their flight thanks to this service’s goal of streamlining the pre-flight procedure, saving time, and avoiding lines at the airport.

Daily hours of operation for the Muweilah facility are 10:00–22:00. It’s convenient for passengers to check in and leave their bags within 24 hours up to 8 hours before takeoff. Passengers have access to services like buying extra baggage allowance, picking preferred seats, or altering their flight plans, similar to airport amenities.

Any of the six City Check-in locations can be visited by travelers departing from Sharjah International Airport, including those in Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, Ajman, and Al Ain.
