SHARJAH: The Sharjah Government Media Bureau (SGMB) has concluded the fourth edition of the Sharjah Events Festival at Al Majaz Amphitheatre, drawing over 30,000 visitors. Running for four days, the festival featured 52 interactive activities, including forest adventures, carnival shows, live theatrical performances, games, contests, and family-friendly entertainment.
A key highlight was the launch of the Sharjah Events Agenda 2025, unveiling upcoming events and activities from both government and private entities. The public can explore these events on the Sharjah Events website at sharjahevents.ae.
The festival saw active participation from 24 government and private entities, each contributing activities and awareness initiatives tailored to all age groups. These initiatives aimed to create meaningful, educational, and entertaining experiences for visitors of all ages and interests.
Tariq Saeed Allay, Director-General of SGMB, commented, “The festival’s rich agenda reflects Sharjah’s unique identity, showcasing it as a leading destination for tourism, culture, and family entertainment. Our goal was to blend knowledge with entertainment, offering something valuable for every visitor.”
He further acknowledged the role of participating government and private entities in driving the festival’s success, noting that their collaboration helped broaden the range of experiences on offer. This, combined with the festival’s growing popularity, has firmly established it as a major annual family event in the emirate.
