DUBAI: The world of artificial intelligence is coming to Dubai AI Week, where over 10,000 AI experts from 100 countries will gather from April 21 to 25. One of the headline attractions? A massive $272,000 prize up for grabs at the Global Prompt Engineering Championship, part of a week-long celebration of AI innovation, collaboration, and policy shaping.

The championship, happening on April 22–23, will test the skills of top AI engineers across four categories — art, video, gaming, and coding — as finalists battle it out for the top prize.

Dubai AI Week is more than just a tech showdown. It includes the AI Retreat, a private think-tank session on April 21 for top leaders and policymakers. From April 21–24, the Dubai Assembly for AI will host global figures exploring how AI can transform business and society.

Big names like Meta, Google, IBM, Microsoft, Nvidia, OpenAI, Palantir, and Cohere are all on board, making this a heavyweight gathering of the best minds in AI.

Other major highlights include the Machines Can See Summit (April 23–24), focusing on ethical AI, and the Dubai AI Festival (April 23–24), featuring 500 investors, 100 exhibitors, and 5,000 participants discussing AI’s role in the digital economy.

To inspire young minds, AI Week in schools will run alongside, helping Dubai’s students and teachers understand the power of AI and how to use it for the future.

Dubai AI Week sets the stage for global leadership in artificial intelligence and aims to make the UAE a key player in AI-driven economies.
