The Zee Entertainment Wembley activation turned Olympic Way into a branded corridor as Diljit Dosanjh headlined the London stadium.
LONDON: Zee Entertainment UK Limited transformed Wembley Stadium’s famous Olympic Way into a large-scale entertainment corridor during Diljit Dosanjh’s landmark concert, putting its television and streaming brands in front of thousands of concertgoers.
The Zee Entertainment Wembley activation featured 34 large-format banners positioned along Olympic Way, the main pedestrian approach to the stadium. The campaign showcased ZEE5, Zee TV HD and programmes including Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Detective Sherdil, Brown, Bandar and Sarvgunn Sampann. Industry reports published on September 15 confirmed the scale of the takeover.
The campaign coincided with a significant night for South Asian entertainment in Britain. Dosanjh performed at Wembley on September 12, 2026, with Wembley Stadium confirming that he became the first South Asian artist to headline the venue. His show also closed Wembley’s record-breaking summer music season, during which the stadium staged 34 concerts and welcomed more than 2.5 million music fans.
Zee extended its presence beyond outdoor advertising with an interactive fan activation linked to ZEE5. Concertgoers were invited to participate in activities, competitions and giveaways, including subscription prizes, as they made their way towards the stadium.
The company said the campaign had been planned for months following the announcement of Dosanjh’s Wembley concert. Creative development covered content selection, banner locations, audience sightlines and fan engagement points, with the aim of making the brand part of the overall concert experience.
The Zee Entertainment Wembley activation also gained additional exposure through social media. Fans, creators and entertainment platforms shared photographs and videos from Olympic Way, placing Zee branding within user-generated content surrounding the event. Parul Goel, Territory Head Europe and CFO Europe and Americas at Zee Entertainment UK Limited, said the company regarded the concert as a significant cultural moment for South Asian entertainment and designed the campaign around the wider fan journey.
The activation highlights how entertainment companies are increasingly connecting streaming and television brands with major live cultural events. For Zee, Wembley offered an opportunity to reach a large South Asian audience at an event that itself marked a milestone for Punjabi music in Britain.
Impact to expect
The campaign could encourage more South Asian media and streaming brands to use major UK concerts and cultural events as platforms for immersive consumer marketing, extending brand visibility beyond conventional television and digital advertising.
