Global : Sam Bahadur, the war biopic chronicling the remarkable life of India’s greatest soldier, Sam Manekshaw, has made a blockbuster opening at its world digital premiere on ZEE5 Global, the world’s largest streaming platform for South Asian content.  This film has achieved a significant milestone by becoming the all-time biggest Hindi weekend opener on the platform.

Based on the life of Sam Manekshaw, the first Indian Army Officer promoted to the prestigious rank of Field Marshal, the film garnered widespread acclaim from both critics and fans upon its theatrical release. Its success extended beyond the box office, as evidenced by its triumphant performance at the 69th Filmfare Awards in India, where it clinched victories in three pivotal categories, dominating the technical awards. Following its global premiere, the movie continues to captivate audiences on streaming platform ZEE5 Global, resonating with viewers in over 190 countries.

The Vicky Kaushal starrer has recorded an outstanding viewership in the first three days of its release, catapulting it to the #1 position among all Hindi titles released on ZEE5 Global so far, surpassing even 2023 blockbusters like Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai and Gadar 2.

Notably, in international markets, it’s the United States, Australia, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, and Canada that stand out as the leading countries contributing to its massive performance.
