The Museum of the Future has launched a global open call inviting people worldwide to help shape its next generation of immersive exhibitions and future-focused experiences.

DUBAI: The Museum of the Future has launched a global open call inviting people in the UAE and around the world to submit ideas that could help shape its next generation of immersive experiences and future-focused exhibitions. The initiative marks a significant step in the museum’s evolution as it approaches the fifth anniversary of its opening in 2027.

The programme reflects the museum’s commitment to continually renewing its visitor experiences while anticipating the scientific, technological and societal changes expected to transform humanity in the coming decades. It also reinforces the institution’s role as a global platform where scientists, innovators, researchers, entrepreneurs and changemakers collaborate to explore bold ideas and develop solutions to future challenges.

Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, Chairman of the Museum of the Future, said the institution represents a unique UAE model that transforms foresight into practical action through knowledge, innovation, technology and human imagination. He said the museum differs from traditional museums by focusing on the possibilities of tomorrow rather than preserving the past, while encouraging people everywhere to contribute ideas capable of improving lives.

The next phase of the museum will introduce deeper, more interactive and immersive experiences exploring major scientific and technological developments expected to reshape economies, societies and everyday life. The initiative also reflects the UAE’s belief that the best future solutions emerge through collaboration between different cultures, disciplines and perspectives.

Members of the public can submit their proposals through the museum’s official social media channels, with selected ideas expected to contribute to future exhibitions and experiences. Since opening in February 2022, the Museum of the Future has welcomed millions of visitors and strengthened Dubai’s reputation as a global centre for innovation and future thinking. Through this latest initiative, the Museum of the Future continues to encourage public participation in imagining and designing the future while inspiring new ideas that could shape generations to come.
