DUBAI: McDonald’s UAE is giving customers the chance to enjoy some of its most talked-about international menu creations without leaving the country. As part of its new World Menu Heist campaign, seven fan-favourite items from around the world will be available at participating restaurants across the UAE from 20 July for a limited period.

The campaign is built around a playful “heist” theme, imagining that some of McDonald’s most popular regional menu items have been “stolen” from countries where they first became favourites and brought to the UAE. The promotion follows days of online speculation before the full collection was officially revealed.

For years, social media has introduced UAE diners to exclusive McDonald’s menu items available only in overseas markets. Viral food videos, travel content and customer recommendations have made many of these products highly sought after, but they have remained out of reach unless people travelled abroad.

Now, McDonald’s UAE is offering customers the opportunity to sample seven international creations in one place. The menu includes the Cheddar McMelt from Brazil, featuring a beef patty with creamy cheddar sauce and caramelised onions, and South Korea’s Double Bulgogi Burger, made with two beef patties coated in its signature bulgogi sauce.

Chicken lovers can try Canada’s Hot Honey McCrispy, which combines crispy chicken with sweet and spicy honey sauce, while Spain contributes Camembert Bites, featuring crunchy breadcrumbs and a gooey cheese centre. From the United Kingdom comes the well-known Sweet Curry Sauce, offering a fruity and mildly spiced flavour to complement favourite menu items.

The dessert selection includes Belgium’s Biscoff McFlurry, blending McFlurry soft serve with Biscoff sauce and biscuit crumble, while Japan is represented by Sakura X Sprite, a refreshing beverage inspired by the country’s famous cherry blossom season.

Beyond the food, the promotion extends to the McDonald’s App, where customers can join an interactive experience by completing seven daily missions. Activities range from solving sound-based puzzles to cracking secret PIN codes. Completing all seven missions within a week automatically enters participants into a weekly raffle, with 50 winners receiving the complete international menu selection.

The World Menu Heist promotion will be available across McDonald’s UAE restaurants and through the McDonald’s App from 20 July, while stocks last, giving customers a rare opportunity to sample popular international menu favourites without travelling overseas.
