ABU DHABI: Abu Dhabi City Municipality has successfully planted 6.5 million flowers for the summer season, reaching 100% of their target for this period. This effort is part of a larger plan to plant 13 million flowers, both in summer and winter, throughout 2024. The goal is to enhance the beauty of Abu Dhabi City and its surrounding areas, making the city more attractive and improving the quality of life for its residents and visitors.

The municipality’s Natural Beautification Project is designed to not only make the city more visually appealing but also to ensure efficient management of assets, infrastructure, and public spaces. By planting a wide variety of flowers, the project aims to create a pleasant environment that uplifts the spirits of everyone who lives in or visits Abu Dhabi.

In carrying out these landscaping projects, Abu Dhabi Municipality follows sustainability practices by carefully selecting flower species that are well-suited to the UAE’s climate. This approach reflects the municipality’s commitment to preserving resources and ensuring that their beautification efforts are both effective and environmentally friendly.
