ABU DHABI: Burjeel Korean Pavilion has been launched at Burjeel Hospital Abu Dhabi, marking a significant step in expanding access to internationally recognised medical expertise within the UAE. The initiative aims to bring advanced Korean treatment protocols closer to patients across the region.
The pavilion was inaugurated in the presence of senior UAE officials and healthcare leaders, reflecting growing collaboration between the UAE and South Korea in the medical sector. It has been introduced in response to increasing patient demand for specialised care traditionally sought in South Korea.
The Burjeel Korean Pavilion offers a wide range of services, including orthopaedic surgery, neuro and spine care, physical medicine and rehabilitation, urology, otolaryngology, internal medicine, and dentistry. The facility integrates Korean-trained specialists within Burjeel’s existing multidisciplinary system to deliver coordinated and patient-focused care.
A key highlight of the Burjeel Korean Pavilion is its patient-centric model, where multidisciplinary teams consult patients within a single setting. This reduces the need for multiple hospital visits and enhances continuity of care, improving overall patient experience and outcomes.
According to Burjeel Holdings leadership, the pavilion is designed to replicate the precision, clinical excellence, and structured rehabilitation associated with leading Korean healthcare institutions, while ensuring accessibility within the UAE.
The hospital has also signed a collaboration agreement with Korea University Anam Hospital to strengthen clinical exchange and enable visiting specialists to perform advanced procedures locally. This partnership is expected to further enhance surgical expertise and treatment quality.
