DUBAI: Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) has officially landed in Dubai, setting the stage for a groundbreaking event at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium. The announcement came during a high-profile press conference at the Burj Al Arab, hosted by the World League of Fighters (WLF) in partnership with the Dubai Sports Council.

The event saw WLF Co-Founders Rajesh Banga and Sunil Mathew, Dubai Sports Council’s Director of Events Eisa Mohammed Sharif, and BKFC Founder David Feldman unveiling plans for the two-day combat spectacle on April 4-5. This marks BKFC’s debut in the UAE, further cementing Dubai’s reputation as a global hub for combat sports.

Bringing BKFC to Dubai wasn’t an overnight affair. “It took us more than two years to bring it here because David has been instrumental in the growth of BKFC, which has become the fastest-growing combat sport in the world,” said WLF’s Rajesh Banga and Sunil Mathew. “We struggled to find the right calendar dates, but finally, we are here. Dubai will be the best destination outside America, thanks to our incredible partnership with David and BKFC.”

BKFC debuts in Dubai with a two-day fight event on April 4-5, bringing top fighters to the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium.

The fight card is stacked with electrifying matchups. April 4 will see Carlos “Snake” Trinidad and Austin Trout battle for the Welterweight championship, alongside BKFC Strawweight Champion Britain Hart facing Tai Emery. On April 5, Tommy Strydom challenges Kai Stewart for the Featherweight title, while Hannah Rankin clashes with Jessica Borga in another high-stakes bout.

Dubai Sports Council’s Eisa Mohammed Sharif praised the initiative, saying, “This combat sport is growing tremendously, and we just want to see it grow here in the region.” With Dubai’s unwavering support, BKFC is poised to become a major fixture in the city’s sporting calendar.
